Renaissance uses automotive data from sources like Kelley Blue Book and Experian Autocheck, Carfax, Sales History within the market to determine your vehicle’s value.
Renaissance will honor any offer for up to 7 days or up to 300 miles from the date it was issued by our system.
Yes, but your vehicle is subject to a final inspection by a Renaissance Acqusition Manager. He/she will confirm the vehicle’s VIN, vehicle trim and equipment,, mileage, and vehicle history. The offer assumes the vehicle is unmodified and retains all original equipment from new.
You will receive payment from Renaissance at the time of pick up or drop off. You can elect to receive payment by:
- Wire Transfer into your checking account (our preferred method)
- Certified Check
- Every transaction is unique in its own way based on the circumstances, current state the vehicle is registered in etc. Here are some common things we will need:
- Driver Licenses of all owners
- Title
- Odometer (picture)
- Copy of the Registration
- Lienholder Information (if there is still a balance on the vehicle)
- Proof of funds if there is negative equity from the transaction
- All of these items will be uploaded via the customer portal that the Renaissance Buying Agent will provide you.
- Yes! Prior to the process being completed, the difference between what is owed and the value, must be paid to Renaissance via Cashier Check or Wire Transfer.
